Getting to St Christopher’s Cathedral

Location:

St Christopher’s Cathedral is located at 55 Franklin Street, Manuka, in the heart of Canberra’s inner south.
The Cathedral precinct sits adjacent to the Manuka shopping village, with the Canberra Catholic Bookshop, cafés, shops and public amenities a short walk away.

 

Cars:

There is limited on‑site parking available in the Cathedral grounds. Additional parking is available in the surrounding streets and Manuka shopping precinct.

Buses:

St Christopher’s Cathedral is serviced by several Transport Canberra bus routes that stop in or near Manuka.

The closest bus stops are located on:

  • Captain Cook Crescent (Manuka Shops)

  • Flinders Way

Light Rail:

Canberra does not have a rail network servicing Manuka, but bus connections are available from the City Interchange.

Accessibility:

Accessible parking and ramp access are available on site. The Cathedral has a ramp access on the right side of the building. If you require additional assistance, please contact the Cathedral office prior to your visit.
